About Us

White Dog Pet Portraits consists of Melissa and Shawn ( Melissa the artist and creative force and Shawn our in house photographer and jack of all trades) 

‘I have always painted but never really had a niche until one day over dinner, a friend asked me to paint his cat - It started with one painting and it’s still going!’ - Melissa

 We have both always had animals in our lives and couldn’t imagine a life without our furry best friends. White Dog is named after our northern rescue dog Echo. 

 

 

We wanted to do something special and be able to donate to various rescue charities at the same time. A portion of all sales will go towards a rescue that’s close to our hearts. In 2022 Freedom Dog Rescue was our chosen charity. Marshalls Dog Rescue is our choice for 2023. 

Charity is always in our hearts so we also donate items to great rescues for charity auctions and participate in local rescue events like The Humane Society’s Wiggle Waggle Walkathon! 

We are our customers biggest fans! We wouldn’t exist without you. As a thank you we will always give our all in providing you the best customer service we can. Your artwork will be as close to perfect as possible, we will always make changes and accommodate if you need your artwork for a special day like a birthday. If there’s anything we can do to elevate your experience with white dog we are all ears.
